Mexico, May 27 (Notimex).- Volaris opened today an international route that will connect Culiacan, Sinaloa with Phoenix, Arizona, in the United States, with two weekly flights, senior sales manager of the airline, Miguel Aguiñiga reported.
In turn, he stressed the importance of providing options to connect various destinations, which represents not only a great challenge but also a satisfaction, because of the benefits it represents for the development and regional integration.
"In Volaris, we are very proud to open the panorama offering new and better connectivity options. Our strategy seeks point to point to connect cities directly, nonstop, and that is what we have achieved today with Culiacan and Phoenix ".
He said that for the citizens of Culiacán and nearby areas, this inauguration represents an opportunity for connectivity to the United States, because Phoenix becomes the first international destination that can be connected from the Sinaloa capital.
He added that such a connection is very important, because Culiacan is a city in process of becoming a metropolitan area.
Additionally, according to the Index of Competitive and Sustainable Cities 2015, the Mexican Institute of Competitiveness (IMCO, for its acronym in Spanish), the company leads the category of "stable economy", even ahead of the Valley of Mexico.
