San Luis Potosi, headquarters of International Congress Adventure Next

The Tourism Minister of San Luis Potosi, Arturo Esper Sulaiman said that in the state, tourism is of great importance because of the economic impact it generates, besides it stimulates the various sectors around the event.

He said the international event will attract destination operators, promoters and international organizations dedicated to adventure tourism.

He highlighted that San Luis Potosi has already become an adventure tourism symbol, so that the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), chose the capital of San Luis Potosi to hold this international conference.

The official pointed out that so far Ecuador and Chile are already registered, as well as Mexican states that have adventure tourism, and it is expected that throughout the days more participants register.

Esper Sulaiman mentioned that the branch is also working to welcome visitors who will participate in the celebrations of Xantolo, to be held in November 1 and 2, on the occasion of the Day of the Dead, in the San Luis Potosi Huasteca.

In order to go deep on the awareness in the international community about the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic value, every September 27 the World Tourism Day is celebrated.

The date of the World Tourism Day coincides with the end of the high season in the Northern hemisphere and the beginning of the season in the Southern hemisphere, a season in which tourism is on the millions of people minds around the world.
